Every Sunday 8 to 9am. Peyvand Silverman, DVM is an exceptional animal advocate, dedicated to excellent and equitable pet care and parent education. She was born and raised in Iran, where she found her passion for animals, spending a lot of time helping stray animals in her neighborhood. She was always intrigued by science and the challenges that medicine presented. She moved to the U.S. in 2001 to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian which she accomplished in 2011. Since then, she has worked both in private practice and shelter medicine, though dedicating the majority of her career to helping low-income families and their animals through working for a non-profit organizations. Being a veterinarian is a true passion and calling for her. She treasures the relationships she builds with her clients to ensure their pets receive the best care possible and are always treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. She works at several nonprofits throughout the community and is excited to provide outstanding medical care to her patients.
